# 1 Disable from Group Policy

This method applies to anyone using Windows 10  Pro and Enterprise versions, if you are using another version of Windows, read method 2.

First press the Windows + R key combination and then type Gpedit.msc in the Open box and press Enter to open the Local Group Policy Editor window. On the Local Group Policy Editor window, navigate to the following link.

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Microsoft Edge

Then on the right side find the attribute “Allow InPrivate browsing”> Double click to open the Allow InPrivate browsing window.

Disable the incognito browsing mode on Microsoft Edge

On the Allow InPrivate browsing window  , click Disable to disable the anonymous Web browser on Microsoft Edge.

Click Apply to disable it!

# 2 use the Registry

For this method you can apply for all versions of Windows operating system , first press the Windows + R key combination then type Regedit.exe to open the Registry Editor window, in the Registry Editor window navigate the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft

Then right-click on Microsoft> select New> select Key and name it Microsoft Edge .

Continuing you right-click the newly created Microsoft Edge item> Choose New> Select Key and named Main .

Then click on the “Main” key just created, right click New> select DWORD (32-bit) value and name it AllowInPrivate .

Finally, double-click the AllowInPrivate property and make sure Value data is equal to “0” to disable the anonymous Web browser mode on Microsoft Edge.
